Its just another weekend in the year 2010.
A little girl asked her daddy, "Where are we going on Saturday, Daddy?". Her dad smiled graciously and told that, "Sweetie! We will be going to a movie". Well, the girl was an inquisitive little kid and so came up a quick question, "Daddy, What is a Movie?". Her dad could not explain to her the definition of a Movie as she was too small to know that. He just said that Movie is "Motion of Pictures forming a story".
Later after the movie, when the whole family was having dinner, the girl heard her father say to her mother that the movie they saw has left him with a really gooooood feeling. Since the girl dint understand the story, she made a note of the movie's name in a book.
Years passed by, when she had a list of movies on which her father expressed that he felt good watching them. Then came the Father's day, and the daughter had a perfect gift for him. She collected a set of DVDs of the movies she wrote down in the book. Well, she presented the same to her father.
Her dad was losing hope as his business was going down in those days......... The gift from his daughter overwhelmed him, but one thing which the gift actually did to him was bring back his hope. As from the list of movies was the movie "The Shawshank Redemption", where the meaning of HOPE is well defined. It says "There are places where the other people cannot get to, and its just yours and in your heart, and that's HOPE". And then came over her Dad, a ray of hope and he started sorting out things in his business with so much more confidence than before.
Well, not for all the people, but for those few people, Movies communicate to them to be a better person.
